Great place to camp. Natural settings...saw deer when I woke up! Big pool for swimming and family fun!
If you are looking for relaxation, Cherokee Landing is the place to be. Rustic spacious site, gives the feel of real camping. Lots of wildlife, squirrel, rabbits, geese and deer. I have never been here without seeing deer. Early morning, just sitting over looking the lake, perfect serenity. I know you can not please everyone and every place has it's ups and downs, but I always enjoy my stay, also can not forget the friendly staff.
The sign as you are going into campground says resort this is far from resort status. The roads are awfull the bathhouses need to be refurbished and the campsites are uneven. Not a place I would recomend .
